5. What happens if the person I am taking care of gets sick and needs to be hospitalized? Since he/she does not speak Swedish, can I have the chance to visit/assist him/her at the hospital to help with communication and provide care?

It is not possible to visit/assist people who have been hospitalized for COVID-19. You can be sure that skilled doctors and nurses will take care of your relative. You have the chance to make telephone calls to her/him at the hospital. If it would not be possible for his/her conditions, you can ask to have a talk with a nurse who can keep you informed about your relative's health conditions. Hospital can provide you with a telephone interpreter service.

If ending of life situations, relatives are allowed to enter into the hospital using a protective equipment.
