Wait until I ask
I was two years old when I had a cannula put into my throat.
It is an artificial breathing tube that is placed inside your body.
I had to have this because I had trouble breathing.
I had both day-time assistants and night-time assistants who helped me clear out my airways.
I feel that my mum talked too much about CHARGE (my syndrome). I have a little CHARGE.
This means that I have impaired sight and hearing and I am a little behind in my development.
It would be better if my mum talked about it when I ask, instead of the other way round.
When I was 14 years old, the cannula was removed.
It felt strange because my assistants stopped working with me.
Now I'm 17 years old and more independent.
I can take the train and bus between April and October when it is bright outside.
Bye! :)
